vivo Reveals More Affordable X50e 5G in Taiwan

Despite vivo launching the X50 and X50 Pro last month, the brand adds a third (and more affordable) variant with the X50e 5G. Unveiled in Taiwan, the third X50 variant looks familiar, and that’s because it is an S1 Pro with 5G and several upgrades. What are the improvements on the X50e compared to the S1 Pro?

  • A 5G-ready Snapdragon 765G processor.
  • A more useful 13-megapixel telephoto camera instead of the S1 Pro’s 2-megapixel depth sensor.
  • A slightly bigger 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 103% NTSC color space.
  • A slightly smaller 4350mAh battery with 33w wired charging.

Save for those changes, you still get a 32-megapixel selfie snapper, 48-megapixel main rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, in-display fingerprint scanner, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage on the X50e 5G.

The X50e 5G will go on sale in Taiwan on October 1 for NT 13,990(~Php 23.5k). There’s no word yet if the X50e 5G will be available outside of Taiwan.

Vivo X50 Pro is too expensive at P39k, doesnt even have a flagship soc. Flagship killers like the ones from Poco are cheaper with flagship socs.
