vivo has formally unveiled the Y100 in the Philippines as its latest model under the entry-level Y series with a Php 12.5k starting price. One of its headlining features is its support for 80w wired charging, which is a first for vivo’s entry-level Y series. This fast charging solution allows the Y100 to top up its 5000mAh battery to 80% in around 30 minutes.
The Y100 is also a major upgrade with its use of a 6.67-inch 120hz AMOLED display that’s paired with stereo speakers–both being new features to vivo’s entry-level Y series. You also get a Snapdragon 685 processor with the Y100, along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, a dual rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel main camera, and Android 14 out of the box.
The Y100 comes in either Crystal Black or Breeze Green, with both colorways utilizing AG glass that has a matte finish to make it resilient against everyday wear and tear.
