vivo officially makes the Y36 available in the Philippines with a Php 13k price tag and with Anne Curtis as vivo’s latest ambassador. The latest addition to the Y series has a 90hz IPS display with a punch-hole and a 240hz touch sampling rate, which is the highest ever for the Y-series.

You also get a Snapdragon 680 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Keeping the lights on the Y36 is a 5000mAh battery that supports 44w fast charging.

Also new to the Y36 is the use of Fluorite AG Glass for the back panel for both the Meteor Black and Glitter Aqua variants–with both colorways having a fingerprint-resistant glossy finish. The Glitter Aqua variant also has a Golden Ripple Process to give it a unique back panel finish.

Other features of the Y36 include a dual rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP54 rating, and Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13 out of the box.

To coincide with the launch of the Y36, vivo formally announced Anne Curtis as its brand ambassador in the Philippines.
