The true bezel-less phone
While companies nowadays like to tout around the “bezel-less” tag, there hasn’t really been a true, literal bezel-less device announced. That may change if rumors and leaks about Vivo’s upcoming flagship, the Xplay 7, pans out. As you can see on the renders above, the phone is literally all screen on the front, with no bezel in sight.
The new phone is expected to use the new under-display fingerprint scanner that Vivo showed off back in June, using Qualcomm’s ultrasonic tech. While Vivo is boasting a screen-to-body ratio of 100% on the slides, there’s still some cutouts for the phone’s front camera and sensor so it’s not technically 100% accurate. Still, if the slides are legit and the renders are what the Xplay 7 will look like in real life, then we are pretty impressed.
While specs for the upcoming phone are hard to come by, you can expect the Xplay 7 to have dual rear cameras, 4x zoom, Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 8GB of RAM.
