After being teased for a few weeks, vivo has revealed the official price of the V40 in the Philippines. While the 8GB/256GB was sold as an online exclusive for as low as Php 20k, the two variants that will be officially sold to retailers will be the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB models, which will have a starting price of Php 27k.

Beyond having ZEISS co-engineering for the first time in a non-Pro model, the V40 packs a 5500mAh battery inside while keeping its profile slim at just 7.55mm thin. Despite being slender, vivo added an IP68 rating and stereo speakers to the V40, making its latest mid-range phone a compelling offering at under Php 30k.
Round up its specs, the V40 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and has a 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution. Its cameras consist of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus.
The vivo V40 has an official price of Php 26,999 in the Philippines for the 12GB/256GB model and Php 29,999 for the 12GB/512GB model. From September 17 to September 27, customers can pre-order the vivo V40 by making a Php 500 downpayment. Â Pre-ordering comes with an exclusive Php 2,000 discount, and the pre-order voucher can be redeemed between September 28 and October 16. As a bonus, vivo is bundling the TWS 3e for those who pre-order during this period.
