

The notch comes to the budget market
Regardless of how you feel about the notch, that design trend/bandwagon is here to stay until we find a way to implement a real, intuitive all-screen display on our phones. And Chinese manufacturer vivo is putting the notch into their latest budget phone: the Y81.

The new phone has a notched, 6.22-inch FullView HD+ display (1520 x 720) which is one of the biggest in its class. Rounding off the spec sheet is a MediaTek Helio P22 2.0 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. For cameras the Y81 has a 13MP f/2.2 aperture rear camera with PDAF and LED flash, with the front camera having a 5MP f/2.2 aperture front camera with Face access and AI Beauty.
vivo is asking for Php 9,999 for their new phone, which is now available in stores nationwide.
That’s half the price of the p22 powered red mi 6a. And yes. It has an ugly notch as well.
Just wait for the Redmi 6A, extra money saved.
