Now this is what you call a drop test
Samsung’s newest flagships are a miracle of modern engineering and science, but it’s not indestructible. At the end of the day it’s made out of glass and metal, and you should avoid dropping these phones to the hard, hard ground at all costs lest you end up with a phone that’s more cracked glass than a marvel of engineering.
Or not – the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is apparently able to take a lot of glass to floor punishment without breaking as evidenced by this video of a woman who violently assaults the phone by throwing it to the phone not once, not twice, but THREE FREAKING TIMES. Each time she throws the phone, it hurtles screen first onto the (what we assume to be) hard, possibly concrete floor with all the fury of a woman who just found out that Zayn Malik left One Direction.
After the ordeal, the Galaxy S6 Edge appears to be working fine, without any obvious signs of breakage. Of course the low resolution of the video may hide the telltale signs of shattered components within, but for all intents and purposes the Galaxy S6 Edge survives, though we assume that it’s absolutely terrified of that woman.
