The budget flagship to rule them all?

Honor made a surprise move for the Honor Play yesterday. For a phone that sports a flagship Kirin 970 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage, they have decided to price it for an insanely low price of Php 15,990. Such pricepoint will give the rest of the mid-range segment a run for their money.

    Of course they can price it low, even with a flagship processor. It’s an in house soc. Also I sampled the 3i in one of their stores, terrible UI. Store clerk had to assist me in navigating, also tons of bloatware. In the end, with Xiaomi and Huawei offering us great products and prices, the consumer wins.
