Microsoft’s Windows 10 will be here either June or July
Microsoft’s hotly anticipated OS will be arriving this year, though until today we didn’t know exactly when it’ll launch. Microsoft’s shed a little light when their new OS will drop. Microsoft has officially announced that it’ll arrive this summer (that’s around June – July) in 190 countries and will debut in 111 different languages.
Microsoft has also mentioned two of their many partners that will carry the new OS. Lenovo isn’t a surprise since the company has been one of Microsoft’s key partners since forever. What’s more interesting is that Xiaomi is stated as one of their Windows 10 launch partners, and that a select group of Xiaomi Mi 4 users have already been tapped by the firm from Redmond to help test the new OS.
EDIT: Xiaomi’s not firm on being a launch partner for Windows 10, and the company has confirmed that they will not be manufacturing Windows 10 equipped phones though they’ll make it easy for people who want to flash their Mi 4 with Windows 10 by providing the resources necessary (ROM, instructions and a line to Microsoft to handle support if something wrong happens) to get Windows 10 on the Mi 4.
