At Last, the Xiaomi 15 Goes Global at MWC 2025

Four months after making its debut in China, the Xiaomi 15 enters the global stage with a debut at MWC 2025. Like its previous global releases, the main difference with the Xiaomi 15 for global markets is the battery, as you get a 5240mAh cell instead of the 5400mAh one found in the China version.

That’s the only difference you’re getting with the global version of the Xiaomi 15. The rest of the specs are identical, and that includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor–with the global version available with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It’s a rare compact flagship with its 6.36-inch 120hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 2670×1200 resolution and 3200nits peak brightness You get support for 90w wired and 55w wireless charging, and the Xiaomi 15’s main highlight are those Leica-branded cameras.

The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 900 sensor for the main camera with OIS and a 23mm focal length equivalent, a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide camera with a 14mm focal length equivalent, and a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN5 telephoto camera with a floating lens 60m focal length equivalent, and OIS.

The cameras can shoot 8K video at up to 30FPS, 4K Dolby Vision at up to 60FPS, and 4K Log recording at up to 60FPS. You also get a 4-mic array, an IP68 rating, a premium aluminum frame, and Xiaomi’s suite of AI tools.

The Xiaomi 15 starts at 999 Euros(~Php 61k) in Europe. Xiaomi will be holding a separate launch in the Philippines on November 6, so stay tuned for the official local pricing and availability of the Xiaomi 15.
