The ultimate smartphone for photography?
Xiaomi is leading the way when it comes to megapixels with the cutting-edge, 108-megapixel-equipped Mi MIX Alpha. However, the Mi MIX Alpha has an insanely high asking price, making it unattainable for the normal consumer. All is not lost, as Xiaomi will be launching another phone with a 108-megapixel camera with the Mi CC9 Pro.
Xiaomi confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro will have a 108-megapixel main rear camera, along with a non-periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The teased render shows a module housing three cameras, another camera right below it, and a smaller one that is presumed to be a ToF module. We still do not know the role of the other two cameras, but we presume that one of them will be an ultra-wide-angle camera.
Another unusual design for the Mi CC9 Pro is the LED flash—you get two pill-shaped ones right beside the main camera module.
Rumored specs for the Mi CC9 Pro include a Snapdragon 730G Processor, 32-megapixel front camera, and 4000mAh battery with 27w wired charging and 20w wireless charging. We should know more about the Mi CC9 Pro on November 5.
