Redmi Note 8 Undercuts Competition, Price Revealed!

The new high-megapixel mid-range kings are here

After a successful launch with the Redmi Note 7 last March, Xiaomi Philippines brings the follow up to one of 2019’s best budget mid-range phones with the Redmi Note 8 series. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is the more significant model, as it is the first phone with a 64-megapixel ISOCELL GW1 main camera to be made available to the Philippines. Beyond the camera setup, the Redmi Note 8 Pro rocks MediaTek’s gaming-centric Helio G90T processor—the Taiwanese chipmaker’s new processor is its most powerful to date and aims to go head-to-head against Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G.

The Redmi Note 8, on the other hand, improves on what made the Redmi Note 7 great with two additional rear cameras (ultra-wide-angle and dedicated macro camera), second-generation Samsung 48-megapixel main rear camera, and Snapdragon 665 processor.
