The first Redmi phone to sport a notch
A few weeks after unveiling the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, Xiaomi is still on a roll with the Redmi 6 Pro. The new phone is the first notch-sporting model from the Redmi line. No worries if you hate it: The Redmi 6 Pro has an option to turn off the notch—a similar implementation done by Huawei, LG, and OnePlus.

Aside from the notch-sporting display, the Redmi 6 Pro sports the same processor, RAM/Internal storage combo, and battery of the Redmi 5 Plus, and the same cameras found on the Redmi Note 5.
The Redmi 6 Pro will retail for CNY 999(~Php 8.2k) for the 3GB/32GB model, CNY 1199(~Php 9.8k) for the 4GB/32GB model, and CNY 1299(~Php 10.7k) for the 4GB/64GB model. No word yet if any of the three variants will make it to our shores.
