The rumor mill is lit with reports of Xiaomi’s upcoming 48-megapixel monster, which is slated to be released on January 10. If Chinese certification body TENAA is to be believed though, the images on the top are your first look at the upcoming, 48-megapixel monster.
The smartphone, which will be the first device under the newly independent Redmi brand, will have a 48-megapixel main camera, and currently carries the model name M1901F7T in the Chinese regulator’s site. The phone looks to have a 6.3-inch screen and will carry a large 3,900mAh battery. The body seems to have a gradient color finish, which has been popping up on most mid-range smartphones nowadays.
Whatever the case, we’ll see the new phone on the 10th, when the device will be officially unveiled along with the specs and other hardware specifics, like processor, storage, RAM and more importantly, price.
