In its push for innovation, ASUS has announced the world’s thinnest laptop to date with the 2023 ZenBook S 13 OLED (UX5304). Making ASUS’ latest offering incredible is that the 2023 ZenBook S 13 OLED is just 1cm thin and weighs 1kg. Despite being extra slim, it offers a number of good features.
These include ASUS’ new Lumina OLED display, which is factory-calibrated to deliver better color accuracy–on top of being Pantone validated and being certified for DisplayHDR True Black. The OLED display is a 13.3-inch 2.8k panel that has 500nits peak brightness, 0.2ms response time, and 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.
It also comes with a class-leading 63wH battery, along with up to a 13th-gen Core i7 processor and Iris Xe integrated graphics. You can also configure the ZenBook S13 OLED with up to 512GB PCIe 4.0 storage and up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. Despite being very slim, it does not compromise on ports–you do get a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port, along with two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a headphone jack, and a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port.
As for its body, the ZenBook S13 OLED 2023 is made from eco-friendly Plasma Ceramic Aluminum that makes use of Post-industrial recycled (PIR), Post-consumer recycled (PCR), and Ocean-bound materials. This makes the ZenBook S13 OLED 2023 have an all-around sustainable design.
