This is a phablet that you just can’t ignore
ZTE’s not one for subtlety. The company has a penchant for releasing massive, 6-inch phablets, and the X6 under the company’s premium Nubia brand is their biggest and fastest one yet. Stuffed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.3GHz (with a faster 2.5GHz version for the true speed junkies) the Nubia X6 is one of the most feature laden phablets that has recently been announced.
Nubia X6
- 2.3GHz/2.5GHz MSM8974AB/ MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor
- 2GB/3GB of RAM
- 6.44-inch, full HD IPS capacitive display, 1080 x 1920 resolution
- 32/64/128 GB of non-expandable storage
- 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, optical image stabilization
- 13-megapixel front facing camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared, GPS, A-GPS
- 3G, HSDPA, LTE
- Dual SIM
- 4250mAh battery
- Android (unspecified version)
There’s actually three variants of the Nubia X6, based on the capacity. While the 32 and 64GB versions of the Nubia X6 have the same 2GB of RAM and 2.3GHz clock speed, the 128GB version of the Nubia X6 has a faster 2.5GHz clock speed and 3GB of RAM. As far as the price goes, the top end, 128GB model goes for around $640 which is only 28787 converted – a great deal if you ask us. Hopefully ZTE brings this gigantic smartphone over to our shores (without too much of a price bloat, hehe).
