realme Debuts 14 Pro Series Globally at MWC 2025

After debuting in China and India, realme makes the 14 Pro series official globally at MWC 2025, where it also revealed its plans for the next three years and revealed upcoming innovations that include a phone with an interchangeable lens system.

For its growth plans, realme aims to double its global user base in the next three years and strengthen its presence in the mid-to-high-end market. realme detailed its plans for this, where it will have the GT series to position itself as its flagship line with advanced AI, top-tier performance, superior gaming, and next level imaging. The Number series, on the other hand, will focus on performance and imaging in a sleek design, while the C series will focus on durability and smooth performance that’s unmatched in its price segment.

realme is eager to shape the future of gaming in 2025 by partnering with top gaming companies to empower young people to become authentic and fearless warriors. Currently, realme has teamed up with titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Free Fire, Honor of Kings (HOK), and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). To leverage itself in the gaming space, realme will drive innovation in three key gaming areas: delivering breathtaking visuals with high frame rates, ensuring smooth connectivity with ultra-low latency, and crafting immersive, user-focused experiences.

realme will also explore AI further with its NEXT AI initiative, where it plans to ship 100 million AI-powered smartphones globally and provide a premium chipset experience and large battery capacity across all product lines.

The global debut of the 14 Pro series at MWC 2025 showcased the world’s first cold-sensitive color-changing smartphone lineup with the “Unique Pearl Design”. This design features advanced thermochromic pigments, enabling the 14 Pro+ and 14 Pro to transition from pearl white to vibrant blue in cooler temperatures, evoking the mesmerizing hues of deep-sea creatures. Meanwhile, the Suede Grey variant of the series highlights the elegance of luxurious vegan suede leather.

The new 14 Pro Series debuts the world’s first MagicGlow Triple Flash for pro-level nighttime portraits and holds the TÜV Rheinland Rugged Smartphone Certification with IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, allowing underwater use for up to an hour.

Aside from the 14 Pro series, realme showed a big surprise at MWC 2025 with their Interchangeable-lens Concept, which has a 1-inch custom Sony sensor and a unique lens mount system that enables users to attach DSLR lenses directly to the smartphone. The prototype has two professional grade lenses consisting of a 73mm portrait lens and a 234 telephoto lens that offers optical clarity that’s not seen in mobile devices–offering everything from stunning bokeh to lossless 10x zoom.

The concept phone showcases realme’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile technology. realme aims to tackle industry challenges such as sensor size limitations and the issues associated with digital zoom by melding modular optics with mobile capabilities.

realme also revealed two new AI imaging technologies: AI Voice-based Retoucher lets users edit their photos simply using voice commands, while AI Video Eraser allows users to effortlessly eliminate unwanted objects or people from their videos with a single tap.

Going back to the 14 Pro series, realme confirmed that it will launch and a Php 1,000 discount.
