The much awaited 2023 Toyota Innova has finally been reveled in Indonesia. Here are the things you need to know.
Starting with the interior, the front end sports a black trapezoidal grille with chrome surrounds; a sporty bumper with a wide air intake; and newly designed LED DRLs and projector headlamps.
Moving on to the interior, it comes with a bigger floating touchscreen infotainment system, a two-tone layered dashboard with metallic accents, an updated semi-digital instrument console, a panoramic sunroof, powered seats, and a wireless smartphone charger.
Moreover, the new Innova sits on the TNGA-C platform just like the RAV4, Corolla, and Prius. This means that it has moved away from the RWD configuration.
As for the engine, there is no diesel option this time. The all-new model comes with either 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated gas engine or 2.0-liter hybrid gas engine. The naturally-aspirated engine makes 171 horsepower and 200Â Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the hybrid engine makes 137 hp and 183 Nm of torque.
Interestingly, according to some reports, driving performance has been improved and the acceleration is more linear and responsive with the 2023 model.
There is no word from Toyota Motor Philippines yet but we can’t expect the 2023 Toyota Innova  to arrive this year. At least we now have an idea of what the all-new model is all about.
