This was made possible through a content agreement that was executed during the contract signing ceremony in Brittany Hotel Villar City. Under the said agreement, ALLTV will be airing select Kapamilya shows under Jeepney TV and the iconic newscast show TV Patrol in different parts of the day.

ALLTV viewers will be able to catch select ABS-CBN shows starting May 13, as said in their joint press statement. “The new partnership seeks to deliver enjoyable, enriching, and informative content to audiences via ALLTV available on Channel 2 on free TV, cable, and satellite TV nationwide,” the joint press statement read.

Through this partnership, ABS-CBN technically makes its return to Channel 2, which was its original frequency before its license was not renewed in 2020. Aside from the sentimentality, this also means that people get more access to ABS-CBN shows other than those being shown in GMA-7 like It’s Showtime.

While it is still far from ABS-CBN regaining its franchise, this development is a glimmer of hope for hardcore Kapamilyas who miss watching popular ABS-CBN TV show
