If the gaming on-the-go holds no appeal for you, Acer also launched its new pre-built gaming PC — the Acer Orion 5000.

Powered by an 8th generation Intel Core-i7+ 8700K and the latest Intel Z370 chipset plus up to 32GB of Intel Optane memory and up to 2-way NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti GPUs in SLI, the new Acer Orion 5000 has more than enough oomph to tackle triple-A gaming titles in 4K.

Its enclosure is EMI-compliant and has a transparent side panel to show of all its sexy bits plus is equipped with the company’s IceTunnel 2.0 airflow management system to separate the internals into different zones to help keep the rig running as cool as possible.

An Orion That’s Lighter on the Bank Account

While the pricing for the Acer Predator Orion 5000 has yet to be revealed, we’re pretty sure it’s going to cost quite a bit. If you aren’t willing to drop a serious amount of dough for two GTX 1080’s in SLI, you might want to have a look at the Orion 3000.

Its top configuration has an 8th generation Intel Core-i7+ processor, 32GB of Intel Optane Memory, 64GB of RAM and a single GTX 1080 that’s still more than capable of taking on games in 4K; all of which is housed in a similar enclosure.
