Acura Unveils The Final Form of 2023 Integra

Last year, Acura introduced the prototype model of the all-new Integra. After a few minor changes inside and out, the 2023 Acura Integra is now ready for production. Check out the official photos from Acura.

“We wanted to stay true to those who were fans of the Integra,” Andrew Quillin, Lead for Acura Public Relations said at the unveiling. “We sold more than 1 million of the old ones, and any time you bring something back, there’s an element of nostalgia that fans have, about what the Integra was and what it should be. We wanted to be true to that winning formula.”

Obviously, the production model did not significantly depart from the prototype or concept model. In addition, like the 1986 original model, the all-new Integra is also a  five-door liftback, although it combines some of the looks of the first-generation model with current-generation Honda Civic Hatchback DNA. Even the engine is the same as Honda Civic Si.

However, according to Acura, although the car shares some tech from the Civic, the car is not just another Civic Hatchback. True enough, the body shell is unique and the design language is very Acura.

Moreover, the 2023 Acura Integra is 5-inches longer than the Civic hatchback, and an inch longer than the sedan. There are also plenty of soft-touch materials, like microsuede seat inserts and padded door panels, that make the interior of the Acura Integra look and feel more premium.
