ASUS brings its latest Chromebook laptops to the Philippines with the CR1 series. Available in regular laptop and 2-in-1 flip form, The Chromebook CR1 is designed to survive daily use at home, outside, and in the classroom with features that include an all-round rubber bumper and a spill-resistant keyboard.
Both the regular and flip models feature a 47wHr battery that’s rated for up to 12 hours on a single charge. The Flip version adds a garaged stylus for jotting down notes and an 8-megapixel world-facing camera that allows students to take photos and videos when in tablet mode.
Both models come with an 11.6-inch HD display (with touchscreen functionality for the Flip model), up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 64GB eMMC storage, and up to a Pentium Silver N6000 quad-core processor, which should suffice the needs of most students. Being powered by ChromeOS, both models maximize the full power of Google Workspace which includes apps like Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Meet, and more.
