ASUS is bringing its first batch of 2023 gaming laptops to the Philippines starting with the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition–two 16-inch gaming laptops that offer great performance for their price.
The TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition utilizes the latest Zen 4 chips from AMD, with configuration options being up to a Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU and Radeon RX7600S GPU with Smart Access Graphics. You also get access to fast DDR5 RAM, along with up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage
This time, ASUS is introducing a new Sandstorm colorway to the TUF A16, which is inspired by the wastelands of battlefields, along with a custom anodized aluminum finish. Its display is a 16-inch WUXGA IPS panel that has a 165hz refresh rate to support your FPS gaming needs. Keeping the lights on is a 90wHr battery that supports USB-C power delivery.
Those who need a portable dual-screen laptop can go for the updated ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, which has a 240hz WXGA Mini LED ROG Nebula panel for the main display and a 14-inch 4K ScreenPad Plus for its secondary display.
It’s a beast of a powerhouse, as you can opt for a Ryzen 9-7945HX processor and up to an RTX 4090 GPU. In addition, the Zephyrus Duo 16 can be configured with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Thermals are well-controlled with the Zephyrus 16 Duo, as you have Liquid Metal thermal paste for the CPU and GPU and Active Aerodynamic Plus 2.0 for better airflow.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is priced at Php 289,995 for the variant with an RTX 4080 and Php 379,995 for the one with an RTX 4090 in the Philippines. Both models come bundled with an ROG Ranger BP2701 backpack, Fusion II 300 headset, Gladius III mouse, USB-PD charger, and a copy of Office Home and Student.
The TUF A16, on the other hand, is priced at Php 87,995 for the model with a Ryzen 7-7735HS processor, RX7600S GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB PICe 4.0 SSD and comes bundled with a TUF Gaming backpack and TUF Gaming M3 mouse.
Both laptops are available at Authorized ASUS stores nationwide starting this month.
