Canon announces three new printers to meet the needs of various businesses, especially in the SME sector, with the imagePROGRAF TC-20M large format printer, imageFORMULA R40 document scanner, and imageRUNNER 2224N multi-function device.

“We designed and developed these three new models to help SMEs improve their productivity and efficiency while optimizing business processes safely and securely,” Canon Director of Office Imaging Products Kenichiro Kitamura said.

The imagePROGRAF TC-20M is a compact 4-color pigment ink all-in-one large format printer that has an A4 flatbed scanner which allows users to make copies from cut sheets and roll papers easily. It can easily enlarge copies of A4 documents to A3 cut sheets, A2 or A1 roll papers, and even to the full width of roll paper.

Its Repeated copy feature enables an original document to be copied and printed repeatedly using roll paper. This can be used for various applications such as wrapping paper or retail store banners, while its Enlargement copy function, can scale A4 handheld leaflets and handwritten manuscripts to large-size posters to be used in travel agencies or food and beverage outlets.

With the TC-20M’s flatbed scanner, thick booklets or brochures can be converted to hard or soft copies for distribution. It also supports JPEG & PDF file formats for direct printing and scanning with a USB memory stick without having to access a workstation.

You get 70 ml ink bottles for four colors (cyan, magenta, yellow & black) for continuous printing, and every color ink on the printer is designed uniquely to prevent incorrect loading of ink bottles. With the large ink tank capacity system, it reduces time and effort when it comes to ink refilling.

The imageFORMULA R40 is an easy-to-use scanner that supports quick scanning and fast conversion of documents into searchable digital forms with bundled software. Its single-button operation makes scanning fast and efficient, allowing you to program up to 9 shortcuts to simplify scanning even further. With a 40 ppm printing speed, R40 also delivers high-quality scans for both sides of documents simultaneously. Its Automatic Document feeder can hold up to 60 sheets of paper.

The imageRUNNER 2224N (iR 2224N) is a multi-function device designed to deliver business efficiency, optimizing office document workflows with fast, high-quality output, giving businesses 360-degree protection when it comes to devices, data, and networks. The iR 2224N also boosts productivity with its wide media support and large paper input capacity, with a print speed of 24ppm. Connectivity options include direct connection and wireless LAN via the Canon PRINT Business App.
