Moving forward, there will be two CapCut tiers: the Standard Plan will be priced at Php 359 a month or Php 2,150 annually, while the Pro Plan will become Php 719 a month or Php 4,299 annually.
Currently, CapCut Pro is priced at Php 359 a month or Php 2,150 annually, and this advisory we received implies that you’ll need to pay to avail of CapCut’s basic editing tools. According to a LinkedIn post, CapCut implemented these massive price hikes as it reflects its “investment in AI-powered tools, cloud-based enhancements, and expanded editing capabilities.”

The new Pro Plan is now twice as expensive, but CapCut promises upgrades: cloud storage will be increased from 100GB to 1TB, and AI credits will be increased as well. CapCut adds in its advisory that they will be releasing more features for Pro users.
With its two plan options, CapCut standard will be made for casual video editors, while CapCut Pro will be for professional creators. CapCut didn’t give a date when it will implement the new prices, but we speculate a possible June 1 implementation.
