If you love using ChatGPT as a guide for your daily writing or as your schedule planner, Google is making Bard, its answer to ChatGPT with its collaborative AI features, available in over 180 countries including the Philippines.
Aside from having wider availability, Google adds that Bard is now available in Japanese and Korean–with planned support for 40 languages soon. While Bard has still its limitations as a large language model, Google assures everyone that it will continue to improve it–and will “maintain high standards for quality and local nuances while also ensuring adherence to AI Principles.” The latter is important, given the current debates surrounding AI and its uses.
Aside from confirming Bard is available in the Philippines, Google teased upcoming new features that include integrating Google Lens into Bard for more visual responses to its users. An example of this integration is when Lens analyzes a photo of dogs–from here, Bard will analyze the photo to determine the dog’s breeds and create a caption for the said photo.
Other new features of Bard include support for Dark theme, integration for Google’s other app products like Docs, Drive, GMail, and Maps, and integration with Adobe Firefly for creating images that can be edited or added to Adobe Express.
