Cherry Cares Partners With UNI Ballpen For Bags Of Youth Program

Not a stranger to corporate social responsibility programs, Cherry Cares by MSN Foundation rekindles its partnership with UNI Ballpen in order to strengthen its Be Cool In School initiative. This effort is to place certain importance on accessible education in the country, especially for the younger population. It was attended by company President, Ms. Venus Tan-Ngu, PR-CSR Head, Ms. Agnes Conopio, Peli-San Corporation Director, Ms. Katrina Pellicer, and National Sales Manager, Mr. Joseph Byron Aquino.

To give a brief explanation, this project had already been ongoing pre-pandemic. However, due to the closure of schools and online learning setup due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this had to be put on hold. Now it’s been resumed in selected regions after 2 years of dormancy. After this agreement with Peli-san Corporation, more than 10,000 UNI ballpens will be included in Cherry Cares’ Bags of Hope. This includes not only your regular pens but also specialty products such as signpens, and even possibly markers and engineering sets depending on the specialties of the recipients. The bags are packages that contain vital necessities for learning and will definitely go a long way.

MSNFI has quite a lot of initiatives that voice out their advocacies. There are some that pertain to PRIDE rights, animal adoption, calamity response, voter education, and equal access to goods and services in provincial areas.
