It’s a strange moment for YouTube, as the official channel of CNN Philippines was allegedly banned. We tried to search for the said YouTube channel, and we got a notification that “this account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding the material the user posted.”

Trying to click on any of the videos on CNN Philippines’ YouTube channel will bring you to the same page, as all of the videos related to the channel no longer display a thumbnail preview.

We don’t know what really happened to the official YouTube channel of CNN Philippines. This is a rare time that an official news channel was banned at YouTube.

We’ve reached out to CNN Philippines and we’re waiting for them to respond on the issue.
