Cyberzone held the second leg of Mobile Mania at SM North EDSA, with the June 14 event highlighted by a Honor of Kings tournament, where various teams duked it out to challenge Cast Away, who are the winners of the Mall of Asia leg last June 7.
With ELV KIS3 emerging as the challenger to Cast Away’s throne, the two-hour long tournament resulted in a 2-1 win for ELV KIS3 to make them the new defending champions of the Honor of Kings Cyberzone Mobile Mania tournament. It was an intense match between the two teams, with ELV KIS3 taking the first win and Cast Away forcing a tie-breaking game 3. Game 3 was where it got intense, as Cast Away tried its best to defend its base–only to be outdone by ELV KIS3 in the latter part of the match.
ELV KIS3 went home with Php 15,000 and gift packs from DITO, while Cast Away went home with Php 8,000. Third and fourth placers Napadaan Lang and Ascension went home with Php 5,000 and Php 2,000 respectively.
Aside from the Honor of Kings tournament, other highlights of Mobile Mania at SM North EDSA include special deals from Samsung, TECNO, UGREEN, and HONOR, with the latter promoting its preorder promo for the HONOR 400. The next legs of Mobile Mania will be happening at the following dates, with all Saturdays having a Honor of Kings tournament:
