After going through the National Telecommunication Commisson’s (NTC) Selection Committee, MislaTel is declared as the provisional Third Telco Player. Tonight’s declaration stayed true to the Department of Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) that they will declare the Third Telco Player by November 7.

The Mislatel consortium comprises of Udenna Corporation, Chelsea Holdings, and China Telecom. Davao businessman Dennis Uy owns Udenna Corporation and Chelsea Holdings.
Prior to the bidding, the Udenna-Chelsea-China Telecom consortium stated that “its immediate priority will be to prepare and to consolidate all the required resources in order to provide the best telecommunications services that Filipinos have been aspiring for.”
Disqualified participants LCS-TierOne Consortium and Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (PT&T) have three days to file for a motion for reconsideration.
