The perfect location

Right smack at the heart of tech central in Shenzhen, China is OPPO’s flagship store. Huaqiangbei is the destination for tech enthusiasts and people on the lookout for a smartphone. Without a doubt, it is the perfect location to showcase the different OPPO devices. This is the second OPPO flagship store, the first one being in Shanghai and it just opened last August.

A unique store experience

It is not your typical store that utilizes every inch of space to display an item. Neither does it have the same look and feel as an Apple Store. OPPO’s flagship store offers an entirely unique experience – one that they can call their own. It is a nice mix of homey and techie, as well as old and new.

Upon entering the store, the first thing that will greet you is a huge screen displaying different, mesmerizing patterns and OPPO’s logo. Their top devices are displayed in the most interesting and modern way. There is no doubt that OPPO means business in the tech industry and is working very hard for breakthrough innovations.

Although it is clear by the store’s layout that OPPO is all about tech, it does not feel cold and clinical at all. They added nice touches to make it homey. There were coffee table books scattered around, CDs, a family computer, miniature cars and other interesting items on display. When asked why it was so, they said that they wanted their customers to feel comfortable and that the items make great subjects to test out their camera’s capabilities.

Every detail thought of

There are some things that may be too small and easy to miss while walking around the store but a closer look reveals that OPPO did think of everything.

The globe at the store’s front is not just interesting to look at. It shows all the countries where OPPO is currently available and they are updating it all the time.

The couch at the middle of the store is not just a great place to sit. It has plugs for you to charge your phone and you can see the percentage on the wall beside it.

The interface is not just a touchscreen device. Each block on top contains different information about OPPO. Simply place it in the middle of the screen and it will project all sorts of data for you. I guess it is safe to say that they are literally blocks of information.
