Showcasing the photography capabilities of Huawei phones and their owners

Huawei has been serious in developing the cameras of its phones for the past few years. We have tested a bunch of them, and we’re amazed at what they can actually do. With that in mind, Huawei launched the NEXT-IMAGE Awards last year. The international photography competition aims to let smartphone photographers capture the best photos using their Huawei phones.

For its second year, the NEXT-IMAGE awards has expanded to host local photography competitions. For the Philippines alone, a total of 10,431 photo entries from 3,378 participants were obtained, making the Philippines the most active country in Asia next to China.

For the local leg, Huawei teamed up with Manila Bulletin for a photo exhibit that was launched on September 5 at The Manila Hotel. The exhibit showcased the best photos taken by Filipino photographers and enthusiasts.

The photo exhibit will make stops at SM Aura from September 14-20 and at the Glorietta Activity Center fro September 21-23.
