Globe is Most Consistent Broadband in the Philippines for Q2 2023

Globe was recently recognized as the Most Consistent Fixed Broadband Provider for the second quarter of 2023 in 31 locations based on the latest analysis of Ookla. To recall, the provider’s consistency is defined as the percentage of data samples that fulfill minimum download and upload speed standards. The greater the internet performance and quality, the higher the consistency. 

For the data sampling, Ookla used logistic regression to analyze consistency among providers to ensure fair and accurate comparisons. Based on Ookla’s findings, Globe offers the most consistent performance in Las Piñas at 89.16, followed by Bustos and Mandaluyong at 88.96 and 88.65 respectively.

Here’s a breakdown of the 31 locations where Globe offered the most consistent broadband connection in the Philippines:

Globe accelerated its fiber deployment, putting up 3.7 million fiber-to-the-home lines, of which 1.4 million were installed in 2022 alone. Additionally, it is converting its fixed wireless and legacy technology customers to fiber connections.

“We will continue to strive for excellence and set new benchmarks in the industry to ensure greater digital experiences for our customers,” Globe at Home Vice President for Brand Management Raymond Policarpio said. 

As a way to further democratize internet access, Globe recently launched GFiber Prepaid, which has no lockup period and no monthly fees, as well as reloadable unlimited internet that starts at Php 299 for 7 days.
