With just 10 months after going official in the Philippines, GoTyme has hit a significant milestone by attaining 1 million users. This is a great feat for the fintech platform, showing that their line of features has compelled a lot of Filipinos to sign up for an account.
GoTyme was confident in attaining this feat; in fact, GoTyme Bano CEO and President Nate Clarke told Philippine Star a few weeks ago that they are indeed on pace of reaching 1 million users in just two weeks.
There are a number of possible reasons why GoTyme was able to ramp up that many users in a short time period. One of its advantages is the ease of creating an account with GoTyme, where you can get a personalized Visa debit card in any GoTyme kiosk nationwide in just 5 minutes. Aside from the free debit card, GoTyme accounts don’t have a minimum balance, and users can withdraw money for free via Robinsons Bank ATMs
“We are doing a very human-led digital model of digital banking. And that allows us to deliver a preferred banking experience to everyone,” Clarke told the Philippine Star.
GoTyme is also unique as a cloud-only company, which helps in adapting to changes quickly and addressing any potential security threats immediately.
