Aside from a tracker for NCAP violations, there’s now a tracker for your driver’s license and vehicle plates thanks to LTO. The government agency recently rolled out LTO Tracker, which lets you check the status of your driver’s license and vehicle plates.

Starting with its plate number tracker, you simply input your plate number to see if it’s ready for pickup. This can be used for those who recently bought a new vehicle, or those who are waiting for their replacement plates.

If your plate is ready for pickup, you will arrive on this page, where you are told the branch to pick up your vehicle plate.

If your plate number does not appear on the LTO tracker, you will need to put information like your MV file number, name, birthday, email, phone number, and indicate where you made the transaction. This is needed for LTO to update their tracker to see if your vehicle plate is ready for pickup.

The same procedure applies in checking the status of your driver’s license: this time, you input your license number and birthday for LTO to see if your driver’s license is available for delivery or pickup. You’d less likely use the LTO Tracker to check the status of you driver’s license, as you usually get your license card after applying at your nearest LTO office.

If the LTO can’t find your driver’s license, you will need to input your information. Do note that you will need to input your LTMS client number, which is your account number at LTO’s LTMS portal.
