Huawei adds another TWS offering here in the Philippines with the arrival of the FreeBuds 5i. Available for pre-order, the FreeBuds 5i is Huawei’s latest budget offering for ANC TWS earbuds.
The FreeBuds 5i comes with 10mn dynamic drivers with a polymer composite diaphragm and has ANC that can cancel up to 42db of noise. For calls, the FreeBuds 5i has a dual microphone setup for improved noise reduction and better voice quality.
Despite being a budget offering, the FreeBuds 5i support Hi-Res Audio Wireless and can connect to two devices simultaneously with its low-latency Bluetooth 5.2 connection. The FreeBuds 5i are rated for up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC on and can last up to 28 hours (with ANC off) with the included charging case.
Huawei has yet to announce the official price of the FreeBuds 5i in the Philippines but assures buyers that it will be priced at under Php 4,000–which is plausible since the FreeBuds 4i was priced at Php 3,599 at launch back in 2021. To entice buyers, those will pre-order by making a Php 1 deposit until March 14 will get a Php 300 discount.
Huawei will reveal the official price of the FreeBuds 5i in the Philippines on March 15.
