Huawei Launches MateView SE For The Philippines

Alongside the brand’s new tablets and laptops, Huawei also launched their new budget MateView SE monitor along with its price for the Philippines during their APAC Smart Office event in Thailand.

The MateView SE builds on the brand’s burgeoning PC display business by offering users a monitor that has a color-accurate panel without breaking the bank.

The monitor uses a 23.8-inch IPS display panel in full HD resolution, with the brand promising 90% P3 color gamut coverage, as well as a delta e value of less than 2 – something that’s usually reserved for far more expensive monitors.

The MateView SE also comes with a maximum refresh rate of 75Hz as well as AMD’s FreeSync tech, an HDMI port as well as a more modern DisplayPort.

There’s an option for the MateView SE to come with a rotatable, height adjustable stand, but Philippine customers will have to contend with a basic stand when it goes on sale.

Unfortunately, Huawei hasn’t announced the price of the MateView SE for the Philippines as of yet, though we expected to retail below the Php 8K price point.
