Huawei just introduced a new smartphone to level up its Y Series. Packed with a huge screen and an exceptional battery life, the new Huawei Nova Y70 is an interesting addition to the mid-range smartphone market of the Philippines.
Starting with the display, the Huawei Nova Y70 comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ screen with 1600 x 720 resolution. This screen, with a 90.26% display-to-body ratio, can surely provide a large and immersive visual for gaming, watching, and browsing.
The phone has a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP High-res Main Camera, a 120° 5MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, and a 2MP Depth Camera. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera at the front.
A 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 4G chipset, with Mali-G51 graphics, powers the Nova Y70. This octa-core processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs on EMUI 12 with Huawei Mobile Services.
Aside from the huge screen, another highlight of this phone is the large 6000 mAh battery. Together with Huawei’s AI power-saving feature, the phone can last almost half a week according to the manufacturer.
Moreover, the phone can be used as a power bank to provide an output of 5V/1A. This can support wired reverse charging for devices such as smartwatches, bands, and smartphones.
Fortunately, charging the phone won’t take long as it supports Huawei’s 22.5W SuperCharge. This feature allows for three hours of continuous video playback on just a ten-minute charge.
