After it was announced last June, Huawei will be bringing over the FreeBuds Pro 2 to the Philippines and revealed that it will have an under Php 10k price and an enticing gift for those who will pre-order.
To recap, the FreeBuds Pro 2 come with a dual-driver design that brings in a Hi-Res Dual Sound system. This enables it to support a very broad frequency range of 14 Hz to 48k Hz. To make the most out of the new design, Huawei added an adaptive equalizer that allows further tweaking to the overall sound of the FreeBuds Pro 2 according to the user’s needs. Huawei also partnered with Devialet for the FreeBuds Pro 2, which should help in a significantly better audio quality than the original FreeBuds Pro.
Another key improvement of the FreeBuds Pro 2 is with noise cancelling, where it can now suppress as much as 47db in noise. This makes it higher than what the original FreeBuds Pro can do, and is the highest noise suppression rating on any pair of TWS earbuds. The FreeBuds Pro 2 supports Bluetooth 5.2, along with Hi-Res Audio wireless, LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.
When it comes to battery life, the FreeBuds Pro 2 are rated for up to 4 hours with ANC on and up to 6.5 hours with ANC off. Overall playback time with the case is 18 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with ANC off.

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 is priced at Php 9,999 and will be available for pre-order from September 2 to 8. Those pre-ordering will get a Band 6 with their purchase.
