Infinix is set to give its NOTE series a major upgrade in the audio department with its partnership with JBL.
In its effort to offer better value for money with its budget mid-range offerings, Infinix revealed that they are partnering with JBL for audio. For this collaboration, it will kick off with its NOTE series, with the first Infinix NOTE phone to have JBL audio (presumably the NOTE 13) arriving in May.
There’s no word yet if the JBL partnership will cover other Infinix devices in the near future. Prior to Infinix, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has phones that come with JBL-tuned speakers–specifically the Note 12 series.
This is an interesting development for Infinix, as the brand has been constantly stepping up in providing groundbreaking tech to its devices and in offering better value for money at the same time. For 2022, Infinix’s accolades include offering both a 180w charging solution and a 200- megapixel main camera (with OIS no less) on the mid-range segment with the ZERO ULTRA.
2022 is proven to be a year where Infinix showcased its best with the ZERO series, and 2023 might see the NOTE series getting major upgrades when it comes to features. The partnership with JBL makes sense for the NOTE series, as the budget mid-range line is positioned towards entertainment, where a large display and stereo speakers are among its priority features.
