Smart’s handing out complimentary pocket WiFi to Crowne Plaza Manila Hotel Guests

Smart has inked an agreement with Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria to provide corporate guests with internet access outside the confines of their room. The landmark agreement means that corporate guests staying at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria will be given a Smart pocket WiFi (without any data caps) to carry around when they’re not in the hotel, allowing them to stay productive and avoid racking up huge overseas data costs.

“We are excited to partner with Crowne Plaza to deliver another pioneering service in the Philippines. With Smart’s ultrafast and reliable mobile broadband coverage, guests can stay connected and productive whether they are inside or outside of hotel premises,” said Michelle Curran, Data and International Services Marketing Head at Smart.

“Smart is a trusted brand in connectivity and with their reliable Smart Bro Pockey WiFi service, we can give guests exactly what they need to make their stay with us successful, rewarding and enjoyable which can eventually lead to repeat business,” said Ian Reid, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria.

Smart promises that this is just a first step in their initiative, and are already in talks with other hotels to provide a similar service.
