Job marketplace app, GrabJobs, launched in Singapore early this year and has found some success with over 25,000 download and having some pretty big names in its client list, which include the likes of: Foodpanda, H&M, Holiday Inn, and many other. After securing seed funding from private investors, they now seek to serve the job market here in the Philippines.
Mark Melo, CCO and Co-Founder of GrabJobs says:
We wanted to get GrabJobs to the Philippines first and foremost, primarily because we know there’s an ever-growing demand here. We understand how difficult it is for employers to find workers that could perfectly suit their needs, and that goes the same for job seekrs who need to find a stable job, may it be part-time of full-time.
As CCO and Co-Founder, Mark Melo, mentioned — GrabJobs has tremendous benefits for those looking for employers and for those looking to be employed. The app allows employers to broadcast push notifications for job listings, search and filter candidates directly, and contact potential candidates straight from the app. On the flipside, people seeking jobs can easily apply to job posts with a few taps and respond to push notifications sent out by those seeking to fill positions within their company.
There are already 1,000 registered users who are looking for jobs and a few local, established companies have already started their own listings on the app too — companies like: SM Retail, Metro Retail, The Peninsula Manila, and Jollibee. If you’re looking for a job or looking to fill positions in your company this is definitely something worth checking out.
