Lalamove granted educational assistance to 100 of its partner riders beneficiaries through its BiyahEdukasyon program.
The awarding ceremony was held at SMX Pasay City, where 100 beneficiaries received Php 20,000 in educational assistance. Lalamove screened over 1,000 applications from September 29 to October 29 before selecting the 100 partner riders that will be beneficiaries of its educational aid program.
BiyahEdukasyon is part of Lalamove’s commitment to support its partner riders with their needs—from day-to-day expenses to funding tuition fees for their children. The program also aims to empower Lalamove partner riders with their academic and career aspirations.
“This program is a testament to our commitment to creating lasting positive change and in improving other aspects of partner drivers’ lives, including their livelihood,” Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Djon Nacario said. “This program also underscores the significance of education as a key sector that we aim to continuously support.”
Beneficiaries of the BiyahEdukasyon program appreciate the support they get from Lalamove. Partner driver Fredinel Lopez shared that the financial assistance is a big help to the education of his daughter Daniella, who is in senior high school. Partner rider Dennis Pagtalunan shared that the financial aid is a big help for his younger brother Danilo, who is a Criminology undergraduate.
Aside from BiyahEdukasyon, Lalamove also has Panalomove, a comprehensive list of benefits for partner riders that include fuel discounts, insurance, and healthcare.
