POCO has always been known for its bang-for-the-buck offerings, so news of an upcoming POCO C51 is exciting for prospective buyers on a tight budget. While it hasn’t been officially announced just yet, the smartphone’s been caught on some outlets. Here’s what we know so far.
The POCO C51 is rumored to come with a 6.52-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, which is a 4G-capable processor for entry to midrange smartphones. It’s said to be supported by up to 4GB of RAM for your multitasking needs. This can go up to as much as 7GB thanks to virtual RAM expansion.
Other notable specs include a 5,000 mAh battery, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, an 8-megapixel main camera, and Android 13 Go as its software.
Some say it’s a rebrand of the Redmi A2+ among the A2 series of devices but this rumor has yet to be confirmed. We’ll keep you posted on the details later on.
