With Meizu rebuilding its presence in the vast phone market in the Philippines, the mblu 21 positions itself as its entry-level offering.
This sleek entry-level phone has a Unisoc T606 processor powering it, and is paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Keeping the lights on is a 4900mAh battery, and its display is a 6.79-inch HD+ TFT display with a 90hz refresh rate and a punch-hole for an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 14 out of the box, along with a 13-megapixel main camera.
The mblu 21 comes in three colors: Ocean Blue, Diamond White, and Titan Black. Other features of the mblu 21 include dual SIM slots, a plastic and aluminum build, and a Prism Edge design. Overall, Meizu’s entry-level offering positions itself as a basic smartphone that covers all of the essentials.
Going to meizu’s comeback in the Philippines, the brand was reintroduced alongside the reintroduction of Geely in the Philippines. This is following Geely’s acquisition of Meizu back in 2022, and Meizu’s return to the Philippines marks 6 years since the X8 was their last phone that was sold officially in the country.
The mblu 21 is priced at Php 3,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Php 4,999 for the 6GB/128GB model.
