The internet is full of memes that include known brands with butchered names, one of the more famous ones is Michaelsoft Binbows, which is a play with the Microsoft Windows branding.
While it has become a popular meme to reference any knockoffs, the place is an actual computer shop in Japan back in the 2000s. It has been speculated that the shop closed down sometime in 2002–though it’s not clear if it closed down due to legal issues with how it butchered the Microsoft Windows branding.
The name of the store actually has a pun to it, as binbo in Japanese means “cheap”–which probably means that the store sold affordable second-hand computers (do remember that back then, computers were expensive, so there’s a thriving market for second-hand units). The store may no longer exist, but YouTuber Nick Robinson was able to find the location of what used to be Michaelsoft Binbows. While he initially spotted the location through VR, Robinson was able to find the building itself in person two years after he made that video of spotting where Michaelsoft Binbows used to be through VR.
Check out the video below on his documentary on finding the building of the store in Koaigimachi, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan:
