MrBeast has confirmed that his next big project is with Amazon Prime Video, where they will be filming “the largest game show in history”. How large? MrBeast claims that it will have over 1000 contestants, a $5 million prize pool, “and many other world records”.

As one of the biggest YouTubers out there with 245 million subscribers, MrBeast’s plans to pull off a show this big does not come as a surprise–he made a video recreating the Squid Game set and having a $456 million prize pool back in 2021. That epic production has gained 588 million views and is the most-viewed MrBeast video to date.

While MrBeast is best known for his YouTube videos, taking his next big show to Amazon Prime Video shows that he wants to scale up production–complete with a bigger budget to boot. This move to have a production with Prime Video has to be MrBeast’s most ambitious goal to date as a content creator.

Despite making it big on YouTube, TechCrunch points out that jumping “from the laptop screen to the big screen” is a risky move for content creators–and not all of them are guaranteed to be successful. However, that might be a different case with MrBeast, who is arguably the most influential YouTuber right now with all of the viral videos he has created to date. We’re not sure if MrBeast can replicate the success of his “Real Life Squid Game” video at a bigger scale–but it will be a new achievement for MrBeast if her pulls it off.
