While MSI is more known for its gaming laptops, the brand has been slowly expanding its business laptop portfolio. Aside from the thin and light Prestige 16 2023, MSI also unveiled at COMPUTEX the Commercial 14, which is set to be its answer to Lenovo’s Thinkpad line–especially with the features it offers.
That being said, the Commercial 14 is Microsoft Secured-Core PC-compliant through the BIOS level, which means that it has all the necessary security features that businesses will need to keep their sensitive data protected. These include TPM, Intel vPro, Windows Hello, and an optional Smart Card reader and NFC.
You are also getting MSI’s suite of videoconferencing solutions on the Commercial 14 to make it optimized for video calls. These include an HDR webcam, directional mics, and a Meeting Helper tool that helps you with presenting on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
The Commercial 14 comes with the latest Core i7 processor and a 14-inch 16:10 Full HD+ display and has a generous port selection that consists of a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port, SD card reader, 3 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, audio jack, and an ethernet port.
MSI said that it plans to make the Commercial 14 available to the public later this year.
