OPPO bags the Sustainable Product Award at the 2023 SEAL Business Sustainability Awards for its Battery Health Engine, which places the brand together with the likes of General Motors, T-Mobile, and Cisco for their sustainability efforts.
The SEAL Awards commends organizations that establish tangible contributions to sustainability while spearheading innovative initiatives that deliver a positive impact on the environment.

The Battery Health Engine is a solution that OPPO developed through three years of research that aims to address battery-related issues by prolonging battery life and combatting the mounting issue of e-waste due to the frequent discarding of batteries. Utilizing a specialized battery management chip, Smart Battery Health Algorithm, and Battery Healing Technology, OPPO’s Battery Health Engine aims to help phones maintain up to 80% of their original battery capacity even after 1600 charge cycles.
Battery Health Engine is available on the OPPO Find X5 series and on the Reno8 series.
