Here’s some good news from Globe: the company’s Globe At Home Plans 1699 and 1899 are getting permanent speed upgrade at no added cost. Plan 1699 subscribers can now enjoy speeds of up to 25 Mbps while Plan 1899 subscribers now get up to 35 Mbps.
In order for subscribers to avail of the free upgrade, they need to check their eligibility on the Globe at Home App and have this activated.
How to get the Globe at Home Speed Upgrade

- Go to your profile and click “Account Services.”
- Choose “Upgrade Your Plan.”
- Verify your information.
- Pin your location.
- Choose a plan.
- Enter your email address.
- Review details and submit your request.
Globe is throwing in cool perks if you’re planning to switch to Globe at Home Unli Fiber Up 1699 and 1899 plans: 3-month access to GInsure with free COVID-19 and Dengue insurance up to Php 140,500, 3-month access to KonsultaMD Family Plan with free 24/7 online doctor consultation, 3-month access to Viu Premium, HBO Go, and Amazon Prime Video, and a free landline with unlimited calls to Globe and TM users. Each plan comes with 25 Mbps and 35 Mbps max speeds respectively.
Subscriber’s access to KonsultaMD Family Plan, GInsure, Viu Premium, HBO Go, and Amazon Prime Video will automatically expire on the fourth month and will not convert to the paid subscription.
